Respected accounting expert and financial analyst Alan Salmon will again offer his full-day seminar on Microsoft Excel and Simply Accounting reporting.
Attendees will spend the morning learning over one hundred tips and tricks to enhance their ability to manage critical business information using Microsoft Excel. Right after lunch, Alan will expose you to the existing reporting in Simply Accounting where you will discover many reports and tools that have never been discovered by most Simply Accounting users. From there he will show you the secret of moving any Simply Accounting report directly to Excel and adding additional information and formatting. That is not a difficult task, but it is something most users redo every time they do the export. Alan will unveil the secret of only doing the setup once and then not having to do it again each time you export a report. Finally, Alan will show you the advanced technique of pulling data directly from Simply Accounting into Excel. For the last hour of the seminar Alan will return to Excel and share with you a series of techniques, such as macros to automate routine work, data filtering and pivot tables that enable you to quickly analyze Excel data.
By the end of the day with Alan you will accomplish far more in less time; create high-impact Excel reports that are professional and polished; plus get your accounting data into Excel where you can use it to effectively manage your business. You’ll do things right the first time. You’ll increase your efficiency with Excel short cuts; you’ll use formulas faster and more accurately; cut your data entry time in half; and you’ll have the numbers you need to effectively manage your business.
