Online Chat - Advanced Features
Sage Simply Accounting customers with a support plan or who have registered a new Sage Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days1 are entitled to technical assistance such as:
- getting general troubleshooting help
- accessing sample data
- creating and configuring a new company
- installing Sage Simply Accounting
- installing a new tax table
- converting from another accounting product
If you are not current on a support plan or have not registered a new Sage Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase a plan so that we can assist you. (Pay Per Chat is available for $59 per chat).

Who can use Online Chat Assistance?
Access to Online Chat varies based on day/time, your product and/or warranty or support plan. If you see a message that permission is denied, it is after hours or you selected an option that requires a prior login.
Customer Service Chat
Available to all customers for non-product support questions only. Get more information about items handled by Customer Service.
Advanced Features
Product Support Chat
Available to customers with a current Sage Business Care plan. Sage Simply Accounting Product Support Chat is an Advanced Feature that requires a Sage Business Care plan.
"Getting Started" Support Chat
Available to customers who have registered their Sage Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days (Some exceptions apply.) Sage Simply Accounting "Getting Started" Support Chat is an Advanced Feature that requires registering a new Sage Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days.
How can I verify that I am entitled to use Online Chat Assistance?
First verify that you are within operating hours for chat (above). Next, check to see if the type of chat you desire requires a prior login.
After you have done this, if you are still not able to begin a chat session, please contact Customer Service and a Representative will assist you.
