Customer Service Chat Assistance

Customer Service Chat is free for everyone and provides non-product support assistance. Check out the Customer Service Chat hours and availability. For Simply Accounting Product Support Chat, please refer to Advanced Features below.

Advanced Features

Simply Accounting by Sage customers with a support plan or who have registered a new Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days1 are entitled to use advanced features such as Simply Accounting Product Support Chat.

To use this feature inside the Knowledgebase, select "Simply Accounting Support" from the "Select a Category" drop-down options on the "Live Chat Assistance" tab. Our product support representatives will verify your entitlement when your chat session starts.

If you are not current on a SimplyCARE with Support subscription or have not registered a new Simply Accounting product in the last 60 days, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase a plan so that we can assist you. (Pay Per Chat is available for $59 per chat).

Who can use Live Chat Assistance?

Access to Live Chat Assistance varies based on day/time, your product and/or warranty or support plan. If you see a message that permission is denied, it is after hours or you selected an option that requires a prior login.
Customer Service Chat
  Available to all customers for non-product support questions only. Get more information about items handled by Customer Service. (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.)

Advanced Features

Product Support Chat
  Available to customers with a current SimplyCARE with Support plan (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.) Simply Accounting Product Support Chat is an Advanced Feature that requires a support plan. Please review Advanced Features above.
"Getting Started" Support Chat
  Available to customers who have registered their Simply Accounting by Sage product in the last 60 days (Hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern. Some exceptions apply.) How can I verify that I am entitled to use Live Chat Assistance?

First verify that you are within operating hours for chat (above). Next, check to see if the type of chat you desire requires a prior login.

After you have done this, if you are still not able to begin a chat session, please contact Customer Service and a Representative will assist you.
