Payroll Tax Table Information
A payroll tax table is software that tells the payroll function within your Simply Accounting system the appropriate amounts to withhold and report. Using Simply Accounting and its payroll tax tables enable you to manage payroll more quickly and easily than doing the calculations manually; it's also much less expensive than subscribing to an outside payroll service.
Because federal, provincial and local payroll tax rates change frequently, it's important that you keep your tax tables up to date to ensure accurate payroll withholding and reporting.
You must be an active SimplyCARE customer to receive payroll tax table updates.
To receive payroll tax table updates throughout the year as tax rates change, please subscribe to SimplyCARE with Payroll or SimplyCARE with Payroll and Support.
We generally release payroll tax table updates twice a year in late December and late June. These dates may vary, however, if government authorities are late in providing the information we need to create the updates. In addition to these semiannual updates, under certain circumstances we may also release interim updates. Check the shipping dates page for the latest information about payroll tax update availability.
Payroll tax updates are provided via Internet download. If you would prefer to receive your tax updates on disk, just tell us when you subscribe. We will add a nominal shipping and handling fee to your subscription to cover the cost of the disks.
