Sage suggests the following as minimum system configuration requirements for Simply Accounting Enterprise 2010. Your specific requirements may differ.
- Processor operating at 2.0 GHz or higher
- 1 GB of RAM
- 820 MB of hard disk space (additional 100 MB needed for installation)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000, XP, Vista, or 7
- 256-colour or higher SVGA monitor, optimized for 1024 x 768; supports 800 x 600 with small fonts
- ACT! by Sage integration requires ACT! 2009 or ACT! 2010
- CD-ROM drive
- Forms that can be sent via e-mail require MAPI-compliant e-mail client, Internet connection, e-mail service, and word processor
- Word and Excel integration requires Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007

Conversion
Converts all data from previous versions of Simply Accounting, excluding DOS and Macintosh® versions. However, it is not possible to convert to a lower-level version. Converts general ledger, customer, vendor, employee, and inventory data from QuickBooks® versions 2001-2009; MYOB® versions 10 and 11; Quicken® versions XG 2003, XG 2004, and XG 2005; and Microsoft Excel.
