How to Upgrade

Sage Business Care Upgrade to Sage Simply Accounting 2011

As a current Sage Business Care customer, your upgrade to Sage Simply Accounting 2011 is ready for you to download!

Before you begin installation of your Sage Simply Accounting 2011 upgrade:

  1. Download the software.

    Click the Download button above or open the following link in your browser: http://www.simplyaccounting.com/downloads/SA2011/

    Note:

  2. Detailed installation and activation instructions are on the download web page. Please print or save this message for future reference.
  3. Once you download the .exe file, you may copy it to a CD to use as a backup.
  4. Choose one of the three options to activate your software:
  5. Automatic (Recommended): Activate directly in Sage Simply Accounting (How?)
  6. Manual: Reference the "Sage Download Notification" email that was sent to you and enter your registration information.
  7. Manual: Retrieve your information through the Sage Customer Portal (How?)
  8. If you had Sage Simply Accounting Intelligence in the 2010 version, you will need to activate it on Sage Simply Accounting 2011 using the activation information you received via email (How?). If you do not have the information, please retrieve it from the Sage Customer Portal (How?).

  6. Manual: Choose Use this Key Code. You will find your activation information from the Sage Customer Portal (How?).
  7. If you had Sage Simply Accounting Intelligence in the 2010 version, you will need to activate it on Sage Simply Accounting 2011 using the activation information you received via email (How?). If you do not have the information, please retrieve it from the Sage Customer Portal (How?).
