Sage Simply Accounting Students
Sage is committed to providing students with the necessary tools to be successful in the classroom – and in the workplace! We provide schools with the educational version of Sage Simply Accounting and provide students with the free corresponding student version to be successful while studying and doing homework outside of the classroom .
Sage Simply Accounting Student Version
The Sage Simply Accounting student version is a fully functional, time-limited, educative version of the software which can be installed on your home computer for studying and homework purposes. To obtain a copy of the student version, please contact your instructor.
Educators: Please do not install the Sage Simply Accounting Student version in your school's computer lab. Please use the Education Version for lab purposes.
Limitations to the Student Version
- The Sage Simply Accounting student version is accessible for 14 months after installation
- Any data created in the Sage Simply Accounting student version can be transferred to the retail versions of either Sage Simply Accounting Premium (with or without payroll services) or Sage Simply Accounting Enterprise
- Users will NOT be able to convert data from previous versions of Sage Simply Accounting (either retail or student) using the Sage Simply Accounting student version
- Users will NOT be able to transfer data from a current student version of Sage Simply Accounting to future student versions
Technical Support for Students
Students are advised to contact their instructors for assistance with Sage Simply Accounting. Complimentary technical support is not included with the Sage Simply Accounting student version.
Sage Simply Accounting Getting Started Guide
The Getting Started Guide tells you how to set up Sage Simply Accounting quickly and how to perform basic tasks. It includes information on learning to use the software, navigating Sage Simply Accounting, performing six common transactions and organizing your daily tasks with the daily business manager.
Sage Simply Accounting Online Community
The forum is populated with accounting, bookkeeping and IT professionals. If you're struggling with software installation, post your question in the online forum or search the knowledge base for detailed instructions regarding installation.
Upgrading to a full version of Sage Simply Accounting
Any data created in the Sage Simply Accounting student version can be converted to the retail versions of Sage Simply Accounting Premium or Sage Simply Accounting Enterprise.
