You can now download the latest product updates (also known as payroll tax table updates) for previous versions of Simply Accounting. We've uploaded the latest product updates for Simply 2005, 2006 and 2007 on the Simply Accounting website. You don't need to install each product update for the Simply Accounting program as installing the latest product update for your version should be ok. For example, let's say you're using Simply Accounting 2007 Basic Release A (Canadian version) but you can't open your file because it was opened in Release D. You don't need to install update B, then C and so forth. As the last product update for Simply Accounting 2007(Canadian version) was Release G, you can install the Release G update, and then try opening your file. You'll go through an upgrade wizard to update your file format to be compatible with Release G but after this is complete, the file should open.

We did notice several users asking for the previous version product updates to be available on the Simply Accounting website in the Forum. Also several users were asking other users in the Forum if they could get the latest product update for previous versions sent to them. These requests didn't go un-noticed and it helped a lot with getting the updates for previous versons on the Simply Accounting website. As always we're happy to hear your feedback and your concerns.
