Nice job, SA. Great, fine working product.

I'm on a Vista, using the 2008 trial version of SA. I've opened it and it's worked before.

Now when I try to load my last opened company, I get the usual connection manager error. Upon opening my Services tab and finding the Connection Manager service, I can't do the usual fix of right-click and Starting it. I get the error 

...."could not start the Simply Accounting Database Connection Manager service on Local Computer.

 Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified "

So, basically, I have a lab that's 5% of my final mark due in two days, and I can't even start the program.

I suggest you try re-installing Simply

No, re-installing will not affect your data. If you want to be sure, you can make a copy of the .SAI file and the .SAJ folder (or zip them).

Ah, even though "reinstall" seems to be the brainless cookie-cutter response to 99% of any customer service inquiry, this time it seemed to have worked. After a bit of freezing and allowing it to access the internet...
