Expand the File Formatted for Simply Accounting (import) fields.  It hasn't been updated since the windows version (from a csv file) came out. The current file import is limited to basic information fields - how about expanding that to allow import of additional fields (including user defined). ie; Ability to assign G/HST as default tax code on import of customers.

Consistency in the indexing between the ledgers and the journals - If you go into a client / supplier / employee / inventory ledger the database is indexing by the first letter of the name field, but if you go to process an invoice the database drills down within the names on the ledger.  ie; Search customers looking for Safeway - type "S" and the list jumps to the start of the "S" customers but if you type "A" it jumps back to the "start of the "A" customers. When you Generate an invoice and type "S"  it jumps to the start of the "S" customers but if you type "A" it moves to "SA" customers etc.

 

Government Remittances reports should be based upon Government requirements and would much easier to process if all the information was available in one report: ie - Payroll Source Deductions should include the gross payroll for the remitting period as required on the CRA "Statement of Account for Current Source Deductions". The same concept would be helpful with WCB Remittances and G/HST remittances.

How about allowing clients using Simply Accounting Mobile to email invoices from the Mobile device. With more and more clients doing business from their Windows CE equipped phones the ability to email quotes / orders / invoices from these devices would be a tremendous selling feature.
