I am using simply 2007 basic. I have installed all upates. Still Simply Accountng shows that it is version A. My o/s is vista home premium. I also have SA 2008 installed but have not yet rolled my data. I will do it before I start receiving payroll update for 07.

Before you go too much further make sure you install Simply 2008 on the Vista machine as C:\Simply 2008. Do not install it as C:\Program Files\Simply 2008. I have the proper steps to convert from Simply from 2007 to 2008 on a vista machine.

More than likely what you really did update is the 2008 version not the 2007.  Double check it.
