    Subtotal

I am using Simply 2008 Basic and I have a couple of problems. First when I am making out an invoice to sent to a customer I cannot get it to show the subtotal before GST and also I cannot get the additional info to show up on an invoice even though I have it ticked off in the customer list.

Hi. Question #1 - Go to Set Up > Reports and Forms invoices and check the box that says, "print subtotal"

Question #2 - The show additional info only comes up as a pop up box, it doesn't print on the invoices. What did you want to add on your invoices? More info needed.

I also have another question, when I am mentering a purchase from a vendor and the purchase is say $50.00 total, I enter $47.00 then click on tax then on GST to get a total. Can I get the program to automaticall add GST when I enter an ammount? Thanks

You can go to the vendor ledger and on the taxes tab specify a default tax code.

Richard I have been using simply for about 15 years now and you have always been there to help the little guy with his problems. I think I speak for all Simply users to say thank you for everything.

Thanks, I appreciate that but I'm not the only one who helps out here.  In fact, if I recall correctly, you have been answering questions yourself on this forum as well as the old one, under a different name?  I am sure those people have appreciated your answers as well.  Everyone who answers the questions correctly helps out others (more than just the person asking the question).  There are many, many here including consultants, bookkeepers, end users and Sage staff who do the same.
