    Simply Accounting problem

    I have instaled Trial version of Simply Accounting 2008 because I am taking "Simply Accounting" course. I have Simply Accounting 2006 but it is not possible to open on Vista Window. Even though I installed Trial version, I am still not able to open on Vista Window? Is it compatible for Vista Window or not? What is problem? If I update my version 2006 to 2009, will it work? Please help, because I need to do many assignments at home but I am not able to do it, because of Vista window.

     Hi Meeran,

    Let me try and clear this up a little.  You have installed the 2008 version trial on your Vista computer?  I'm assuming that the data file that you're trying to open with that 2008 version is a 2006 data file?  Please describe what happens when you try to open the file in the 2008 version.  Is there are error message? Also whet edition is your 2008 and what edition is the 2006, are they Basic (or Simply Accounting by Sage), Pro or Premium?  Keep in mind that the 2008 has to be the same, or higher, edition than the 2006.
