I can’t really tell the exact scenario from your description but if you are using a GST code such as GST included in the price the amount of tax is not shown in the screen were the customer invoice information is entered but it is broken down in the printed version to comply with the rule that the GST amount must be clearly displayed in an invoice.

Hi, okay. I make invoice for example $22,527.86 then click the GS tax code for GST to be added. $1125.89 is listed in the Invoice beside GST as it should be. Now when I print the Invoice it comes out as

    subtotal - 22,527.86

    GST- $1126.39

    GST not included $.01

I tried to duplicate your invoice but everything was normal.  While you have the invoice on the screen hit Ctrl+J.  What is the Sales Journal entry?

As you can see that entry is not balanced: there is a corruption somewhere.  Check the data integrity by going to the Maintenance menu.  More than likely it will be corrupted: be ready to restore the backup you made before the entry (if all was OK then!).

    Re: GST on Invoice

Usually the Tax not Included will show up because someone adjusts the tax by using the magnifying glass button at the bottom beside the taxes.  When an adjustment is done through this dialog, the program understands that the total tax is the amount listed but some of it is not included in the line items.  So it is marked as such.  If you want to adjust the tax and show it as one total, do it on each line item applicable.  Use the menu option Sales, Tax Summary for Line or Ctrl-Y when your cursor is on the line.

    Hope this was the answer.
