    Preiewing Customer Statements

I am using Simply 2008 Basic and I know there is a way to look at a customers statement on the screen without printing it. Can someone help me out with this. Thanks

Hi there:  To the best of my knowledge there is no option to View Customer Statement before printing it.  I have no idea why Simply doesn't offer this option as I very frequently would like to just view a customer's account status this way at a given date without having to actually print out the statement.  So far though I don't see anywhere the option is available.  If anyone else knows where to find it I would like to know too.    Rita Deering

You can only preview Simply Form Designer forms.  Just hit the Preview button.  However, if your button is gray then you are probably using the preprinted or Crystal Reports version.  These you cannot preview before you print.

Hi, if I am understanding your question correctly it is very easy to preview your customers account without even going to "Statements".  Go to Customers and Sales, right click on their name and choose Display Customer Aged Detail Report, then you can go to "Modify" and choose Report Options. At the bottom you will see a box where you can choose to show "invoices paid in the last _________ # of days" You can choose 0 and then it will only show all outstanding invoices.  You can then print it or preview it.  Hope this answers your question.
