We have Simply 2008 installed on 2 Windows Workstations and the Data connection manager loaded on a windows 2003 server. The files run over a mapped drive to the server. If one of the users closes Simply on thier workstation and tries to get back in, they cannot. They are denied with the User already logged in messgage.
Just FYI for any Sage Customer support people - I have killed the MYsql-nt task and that fixes the problem temporarily, or a server reboot which is the worst advice I have ever heard. How about comming to the table with a REAL fix for the problem.
Perhaps some escalation to someone who knows the issue and can provide a permanent fix for this problem. It is a file lock problem just for a hint.
Please tell us what to do to fix the issue.
