Is it possible to import and export transactions from one simply accounting module to another.  For example inventory or sales?

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do exactly; could you tell me more about this?  Normally a transaction is specific to its journal, so a sale can not become a purchase for example.  But in the case of inventory, it is updated by your sales and purchases.
